Good morning!

A new Monday is here and today, I wanted to tell you about my last lipstick acquisitions. They are five: two in natural shades and three in more intense tones. Hope you like them!

1- Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick 111 «kiss of Life» (Matte range) (Rimmel London): es un rojo cereza precioso.

4- «All Fired Up» (Mac): éste es un rosa frambuesa intenso y precioso.

1- Lasting Finish by Kate Lipstick 111 «kiss of Life» (Rimmel London): it’s a precious mid cherry red tone. Its undertone is not excessively blue and though intense, it’s quite wearable during the day time. It’s smart and won’t make your teeth look yellowish. It glides on smoothly and it’s not too dry. Although it belongs to the matte range (red packaging), I would say it has a semi-matte finish. It lasts quite long but don’t expect it to be non-transferable or to get fixed on your lips for a whole day. Despite this, its quality is a very good one, especially taking into account its price (€5.00 approx). If you want to read more about other lipsticks of this kind, click here.

2- «Peach Blossom» (Mac): I wanted this lipstick so badly and I have it at last! It’s on the Cremesheen range by Mac, so it’s creamy and subtile. It leaves a soft veil of coulour with a wet effect touch on lips.  Really nice for an everyday natural look. It has a delicate peachy pink tone. Its price is €19.50 (if you wish tu read more about other Mac lipsticks click here).

3- «Natural Beauty» Long Lasting Lipstick (Essence): It’s a natural dusty rose shade, beautiful for a daily wear. Coverage is not bad at all. The only disadvantage I can find is that though it is meant to be a long lasting lipstick, you will need to reapply it several times a day. However, due to its low price (less than €3.00), it doesn’t bother me that much.

4- «All Fired Up» (Mac): this lipstick has a gorgeous raspberry pink shade. If you follow this blog, you will have already seen some looks wearing it (here and here). It belongs to the Mac Retro Matte range. Lipsticks of this kind have a very matte finish, so they usually last really long and they cover the lips completely. On the other hand and due to their texture, they tend to dry your lips, so you will need a good exfoliation and hydration before application. Its price is €19.50.

5- «Purty Persimon» Megalast Lipstick (Wet n Wild): you all know I love this range because I’ve already talked about it (if you want to read it, click here). As regards this particular lipstick, it has an intense orange shade, ideal for the Summer. High coverage and fine duration for a very good price (around €3.00). It has a semi-matte finish and it won’t make your lips feel dry or uncomfortable. The only disadvantage is that they tranfer a bit.
